What’s Important

We value deeply the process of spiritual formation (discipleship) and we believe that it involves observable and easily understandable steps that lead to a life of becoming like Christ (life-change) in that we love as he loved and live as he lived. While “L4” is more organic than linear, we see these steps as follows:

L1 – Loving God and Loving our neighbors as ourselves – this is the usual starting point (Mark 12:28-31; Philippians 2)…
L2 – Locking arms in community – this is typically the next step, or level of commitment (Acts 2:41-47)…
L3 – Living openhandedly – this usually follows group life as it helps us move toward living beyond ourselves (Romans 12:3-21)…
L4 – Launching new people, new groups and new churches – this is the desired result of living out L1-L3 (Matthew 28:18-20)…

 

What we celebrate:

So when you boil it all down, what is Connexions Church all about?  What is it that we celebrate above all else?  

It’s pretty simple: life change.  

We celebrate the most when a person enters into an authentic relationship with Jesus Christ – a relationship that leads to long-term life change that is centered upon loving God and loving others. 

This is the ultimate objective of all that we do.
