Short-Term Mission Trip to Kenya
On October 3rd, 2009 a team of us from Connexions will embark on an incredible two-week adventure: into the bush of northwest Kenya. As part of a mobile medical team we will push in to new areas of Pokot where the people have never seen outsiders. They only know their tribal language, have never seen electricity or heard the wonderful name of Jesus. Their life expectancy is 38 – 42 years old and the infant mortality rate is one out of five children live past the age of four. Don't have medical training? No problem – we actually need more non-medical people than we do medical people. For more information, please contact Ron Gelaude at rgelaude@connexionscc.com .
